I've been posting this up on about every other guitar forum known to man so I may as well throw it up here too. Don't want the Unofficial Warmoth crowd to feel left out!
After months of waiting my patience has paid off. An orange 5122 showed up today!
Please excuse the less than stellar pics, I'm excited to start playing around with this I so didn't wait for great lighting or a nice location. The only thing I've done to it so far is tune it, it still has the protective plastic on the pick guard and the foam under the bridge for cripesakes...
I love how it looks. I love how it feels. Sound wise I haven't found a particularly sweet amp setting for it yet (after a whole 10 minutes of sort of trying - Vox VT15 amp at the moment, too many options!) and it seems to have a buzz somewhere... but I'm not going to worry about that until I've spent some time on the set up.
And that's it for now, time to caress it for a while.
P.S. Is it bad that my wife asked if I'd be sleeping with it tonight????
P.P.S. And yes, I have removed the foam and plastic film now.
