totally agree - to be honest, in my considered opinion ALL of the showcase stuff needs to be without any pickup or bridge routing... yer seriously limiting people's options there!

Lots of things to consider here. If we leave stuff unrouted, people have more options, but....it also means whoever buys it will have to wait a few extra weeks for the body to get done...and that can also cost Warmoth the sale. It also means every body would have to go through production twice, instead of once, and there is a financial cost to that.

So, we have to decide which way to go on each body, based on our sales history and our experience. Just as an example, if we know that 90% percent of all Soloist bodies sell with two humbuckers routs, we are going to rout most of them that way for the showcase. However, if a Soloist came through with an extremely rare and very expensive Flame Koa 1-piece top, we might leave that one unrouted, so as to cast the widest net possible for that expensive body.

Again....lots of things to consider.
