No CAR?

:help: so this might not be a big revelation to the forum, but it is to me... there's no candy apple red in warmoth's vast paint selection! :sad:

any particular reason? am i overlooking it (or something very similar of a different name)? does anybody know if it can be special ordered?

turns out my tele deluxe is dying for another tele companion, and having no candy apple red to choose from is really disappointing

Only up til the early seventies, when the Deluxe came out. At that point, the Custom was a half-way model. It featured the controls of the Deluxe, a Wide Range HB in the neck, and a stock Tele bridge. Keith Richards uses one on and off. Look for the Les Paul layout.

haha well if you have to know my plan is a CAR Tele Custom. so yes, humbucker in the neck! just not sure what kind... and i love the deluxe/custom pickguard, so it's perfect for me. i miss having a tele bridge.

i definitely did overlook that! thank you. i guess i panicked when i didn't see it in the "metallic" colors and didn't even check the "candy" colors. seems too obvious now :laughing7:

I'm going to check, but I think there was a custom Tele, and a Tele Custom.

fender's really running out of names. there are custom deluxes, custom telecasters, telecaster customs, and nashville deluxes.

and look how far all that spending has gotten the redskins and cowboys :dontknow: the redskins haven't had a great team for years, and the cowboys just lost to the redskins. it's going to be an interesting year, thats for sure. but to be honest, the cowboys really lost because of their ability to draw a flag on almost every play. they couldnt stop brian orakpo (last play or any before it) and we got the call. no crooked referees.

I got to say I hate the Cowboys and most Cowboy fans I've met. So Arrogant and full of themselves. They definately fit the Jerry Jones mold. Self proclaimed America's Team. What a joke. They are loaded with talent but their owner is keeping them from being sucessful. Wade Phillips is a joke. He was the ass end of the Dan Reeves regime. It's obvious Shanny had the brains in that outfit. Get a real coach and let him coach and the Cowgirls would be just fine.

FWIW I personally could never jump ship. Die Hard Orange and Blue.

yeah. america's team is only "america's team" as long as people are jumping on the bandwagon. i think the bandwagon is finding itself pretty empty at this point. they could still pull out a big season, but they've got to work hard for it now. and wade phillips will never be bum phillips. thats for sure.

having said that, warmoth's candy red is EXACTLY what i'm looking for :icon_biggrin:
