After going back-and-forth about it, I decided I wasn't all that happy with my used Blacktop Jazzmaster.  Went to the local GC, and was able to grab this as a even swap.  Epiphone Dot Studio



Much more comfortable for me to play, just need to swap the strings out for a slightly heavier gauge set with a wound G string.

I have the Ibanez AM73B a very similar guitar and I really like it. I like that the Epi dots have only master tone and volume. I got rid of the 'extra' controls on my Ibanez, so that I only have master tone and volume now. I'm in the process of slapping some GFS Humbuckers (uncovered) in it and should be done later today.

In a parallel universe kind of thing I got my Ibanez semi solid after not being wowed by a Modern Player Jaguar.
