Hey guys, I was searching the ebay and found this gem, A mint 2007 charvel san dimas star.I was planning on purchasing a warmoth but this deal was just too good to pass up(it was $1400, wild west has one listed for $2800).This is the pic and part of the speil that was on ebay.

This is one of two star paint schemes that were made for the original Legacy series run for the NAMM show in 2007 that were hand built to original Charvel factory specs by the five original employees of Charvel guitars- Grover Jackson, Mike Eldred, Todd Krause, Stephen Stern and Mike Shannon. This guitar is literally in mint condition, unplayed, in the case, with the leather commemorative case for the certificate of authenticity that is *hand signed* by the five extraordinary gentlemen listed above, with the exclusive DVD that details the building process and the conceptualization of the Legacy series.

Not even close to my cup of tea, but good find nonetheless with that back story! :icon_thumright:

Wild West's listing doesn't mean anything. The one you got was listed where many thousands of people who buy guitars could see it, and the most they could get for it was $1,400. So, they're worth $1,400 at best, less than that to most folks. But, unless you bought it as an investment, that's ok. It's worth that much to you, and I'm sure with the cast of characters involved in its genesis that it's a fine piece of work. It's also not something you're going to see on every stage from here to Deepinahearta, Texas. So, it's an interesting catch. Congrats!

It was a buy it now and I live in LA..nuff said haha. The guy also did live in kentucky so I guess there aren't many hair metal bands out there, probably why it was that much.
