That's a real looker. If it plays the way you like, it's a win all the way. :icon_thumright:

It rocked well tonite, and having the scallops help in the bending of those upper frets.
Forgot how much I liked scalloped necks.  Been about 16 years since I've owned one.
It's been extra humid here the last day or so, but it finally "settled".

Nice thing, since I did the level job on the frets, surprisingly, it was dead on intonation wise without any adjustments.  I did a minor 1/8th turn on the truss rod at the very most, set the action, done!

Very nice!
Good video presentation also.

Absolutely beautiful, Tony.  Thanks so much for sharing this very special piece with us.

And great work, Greg, you have outdone yourself.

OUTSTANDING beard, Bagger!

TFS: Sweet guitar!  I hope to have a Grape Ape myself, someday haha.

You're very kind, Frank.  Mrs. Bagman is a huge fan of the beard now that it's long enough to be soft and cuddly instead of just bristly and disreputable-looking.

Moving to Encinitas in a little less than two weeks, so I'll be close enough to OC to get together for coffee and to swap axe stories, if'n you're up for it.

It's actually quite balance compared to the RG body.
The Velocity or the Tele would be the closest Warmoth equivalent.

I wonder if the W would make a 7 string Velocity body to go with their Super 7 neck.

I'm down.

Yea Tony!!! That totally rocks man. What a fine guitar and Greg did it proud as per his usual self. . Good to see you as well. Hope the summer is not totally cooking you guys. Sometimes lately I think my apartment is trying to kill me just a few miles up the road from there.  :laughing7:

Woh! Really? I'm in Carlsbad these days. Maybe I could tag along?

It's seriously looking like it would be worthwhile to stage a UW get-together here in the southern SoCal area.  Let's noodle on this a bit.  My own home is good for sitting around and jaw-jackin' but playing loud electric guitar music is kind of a non-starter.  Any other thoughts?

My place is good for that exact thing. The backyard faces out to a canyon with a road down the bottom of it. The only ones we'd be bothering are the coyotes.

There are several good jams in and around the North County area too.
