"Next-Gen" Blackguard Tele

With current drought conditions (low humidity, 100+F) filler has dried much more quickly; will need at least one more fill, but you can see how well the dyed grain filler is making that grain pop and it should stand out well under the Butterscotch Blonde...

First pass shooting with Butterscotch Blonde; uneven in some places, will need to do some sanding back when dry and re-shoot a bit....

Some better shots; finished with the Butterscotch Blonde and shot a wash coat of gloss nitro.

Tip: If you hate to scrape bindings, steal one of those q-tip like things with a little square sponge on it that your women use to put on eye makeup with. If you dip it in lacquer thinner you can very carefully go around after you shoot color and wipe it off the binding.

Starting to look bad-assed; the sunlight makes it look a little brighter than it actually is...

Not to say anything bad about any angle of it, but the ash on the back really catches my eye.  That is a very cool guitar you have going there.

Might have to do another all Swamp Ash one sometime in the future; the Butterscotch Blonde goes on kind of like Fender Neck Amber, I don't think I used a 1/4 can...
