New website lets you modify Showcase items?

I've been watching the Warmoth site for several years now, but never have pulled the trigger for my own build.

I noticed that the new website has the option (Configurator) to make some changes to Showcase items. Specifically, say there's a finished Tele body with usual tele routes. The configurator pane gives you the options to go with a humbucker in the bridge or whatever.

I was under the impression that the showcase items were kind of "as is" pre-made stuff just to cut down on the number of custom orders for common orders.

So can i order a Showcase body now and change the pickup routes up? Hoping somebody can clarify...

You could always do that, although obviously you could not choose a smaller route than already existed.

I guess its just a bit confusing the way this little app is laid out. Is the little checkbox in the configurator pane saying "yes, apply these changes and give me the price", or is the checkbox saying "black dyed routes" which appears on the line below?

As a rule I always call in any order that requires a change to spec on Showcase items

...there's an option for 'none' for bridge pickup on showcase bodies that already have a tele rout.  :icon_scratch:
