2 birds knockin beaks? I can get on board with that, my man. Makes me wanna set my thoughts on fire #blaze-it-on-wings-of-glory

Nah - it's a bird attacking its reflection in the mirror.

Could be. He doesn't say what he modeled the birds on, but they look like peacocks to me, which are actually much larger than many people realize and are surprisingly aggressive birds. Being birdbrains, I can see them being stupid enough to attack a mirror. In areas where they're more common, they've been known to attack dark-finished cars (!) because they can see their reflection in them.  :laughing7:

Very true about Peacocks and Peahens. They are quite numerous where I live.  If you’ve never seen one, they roughly the size of a turkey.

Stunning.

What are the specs on the neck? Looks great and I really like the keystone tuners. Is it a Warmoth neck or a separate custom creation?

We had a thrasher around here for a while that attacked the mirror on my car. Crapped all over the thing, too. Dumb as a block of wood. :laughing11:

Once, while driving on country back roads (and I mean BACK roads - I grew up in the sticks. I was probably 10 minutes from the rural arteries), I ran up on a peacock fight. It was something to behold. They were circling, eying each other. I rolled down the window to try and get a picture, and they both kinda gave me the evil eye (as only birds can do - it looks truly evil), while trying to figure out if I was a threat, without letting their opponent get the upper hand.

The neck is a Warmoth Hombre; '59 Roundback, 6150 frets, mahogany w/ebony fretboard.

Thanks for the kind comments, and the Animal Planet featurettes...BTW- They're Ravens.

Ravens?! Phbbt! No worries. I'm sure with a little CRISPR action, they can once again become the bloodthirsty competitive birdbrains we all assumed they are.

If it wasn't for the emblem in the middle it would look like a lions nose and upper fangs!  (Maybe the emblem between its eyes means its an Indian lion?)  Either way I think it is the best yet.

Is that why my wife keeps so much food in the "Crisper"?...

You didn't know? "The Crisper" is a marketing ploy by Big Grocery. Simple, but effective. They simply convinced the refrigerator manufacturers to rename "The Rotter" in order to sell more produce and whatnot.

Now I understand, makes sense to me!  :headbang:
