new Tele

I had enough of gazing at beautiful Teles in books and internet. I started with a great-priced showcase body with all three contours. This is just Minwax orange stain and poly from Lowe's. Muddy Waters' Tele made me get the Deluxe knobs. I knew I needed an f-hole pickguard because of Merle Haggard's in the 2003 Fender catalog. 4-way switch. GFS Slick brand pickups. Goncalo/pau ferro fatback. I aligned the decal with the wood grain.

And the Vinyl T strap buttons. No one needs anything more complex.

I used some black shielding paint for the first time, and I was NOT careful.
