no, compare the upper horns and the recess on the lower horns. they're really different. or, to put it differntly. Compare a PRS to a warmoth VIP.

Most likely, same reason the VW went by the wayside...I imagine PRS is just as much a pryk as EB is....They both think they are miricles in the guitar industry, when after all they are nothing more than copy cats themselves..

Yeah the difference is the carving on the upper horn.  I'm guessing it looks too much like a PRS, and that is why it was changed.

I always order too many screws, out of fear of not having them. Better to have them and not need them than need them and not have them, and they're cheap. Couple more guitars, and I'll have enough screws to start my own business <grin>

That doesn't even look like a mahog top!  I built a mahog VIP with a rosewood neck too, but after seeing this I may have made a mistake covering it with a flame maple top, that is gorgeous  :headbang:

Gorgeous body! Don't often see mahogany like that. Somebody ought to be docked a week's pay for cutting that F-hole in it. But, it's going to be just fine. It's much too pretty to let a pointless F-hole get in the way of a long and prosperous life.
