I'm just starting to get bits together for a new build, body, neck, pups (and hopefully all hardware) are on order.

I was really close to getting a mustang, but ultimately wanted the jazzmaster style tremolo and I wanted the rothstein stb super mod' wiring kit which I have and love in my baritone.

Here's the showcase images of what I'm waiting for...

So it was you that bought that Jaguar. I had that body in my watch list. :icon_thumright:

Good choice. And that neck is off the chart. SPECTACULAR! :o :o :o

This is going to be a sweet build. What color will you doing for the body?

+1 on "holy moly, that neck!"  Eye-popping!  I've always loved the Jag body shape, too, looking forward to seeing the progress.

That's going to be a stunning guitar. A dark stain will do that body well and do justice to that outstanding neck. Looking forward to following your build.

Oh nice! I'm a big fan of the G&L PTB wiring. I have a Comanche which is my favorite guitar, and the PTB helps it to be even more versatile.

Wiring harness showed up today, it’s really beautiful so much cleaner than what I can do. Also the upper control plate for the jag setup for a single switch.

Hopefully this will only take minimal tweaks (switching out the roller plate) to fit nicely in the jag...

For starters, I think that angled toggle will have to be switched out to fit in that lower switch cavity with the conversion plate you have pictured above; -need a Switchcraft shorty like this:

Also, if you ever do decide to use the upper controls, the pot brackets for JM and Jag are different size/spacing.

I've been looking around at some different noiseless P-90s.  I'd love to know what you think of them. Be sure to post some sound clips when you're ready.

BTW, that is one OUTSTANDING neck! I don't think I've ever seen better flame on a neck. Great snag...  :icon_thumright:

I found a Youtube video that shows the soap bar sized ones nicely. I'm interested in how these compare in the HB sized bobbin.

I’m curious to compare as well. I have a couple of guitars with p90s in them, including a second set from RSP in my lightning deals strat that I haven’t quite finished yet.

I should hopefully have all the parts for that strat today and the jag (except the bridge/trem), so I’ll probably finish the strat first.

Here is a dry fitting and where I’m at with the dye, it took a little extra routing to get the jazz master wiring harness to sit well but it looks like everything will fit unite nicely.
