Is he a germaphobe?

he is a fragile little old man... or maybe both that and a germaphone  :dontknow:

actually, I think I read somewhere that he had a hand injury in the past from shaking lots of fan's hands.. or maybe one very strong fan... can't remember the exact story.

I just looked it up and found out he's 64 years old. I had no idea. Although, I should have known better - he was playing with Yes back when I was just a grasshopper.

yes, he is an old fart...

I am currently still very upset with my (former?) favorite band, but Steve is still my favorite!!

sammy hagar recently turned 64 too!  looks a tad better than howe
all that running i guess and warm weather as opposed to cigarettes and rain in jolly ol england!

met & shook Charlie Hunter's hand a couple of times after shows up in LA.  got to love the super small clubs for the easy access to the players  :glasses10:

got autographs from Stanton Moore, Will Bernard and Wil Blades (Stanton Moore Trio) on a CD after a show.
also got a tour poster signed by the entire band moe. (any jamband heads?) after a show.

may not be legends, but cool enough for me.

Used to do Civil War reenactments with David Kincaid, the guitarist and singer for The Brandos.

Met all of Filter.

Richard smashed a squire bullet I gave them and all signed it and even chatted with me a little while after the show.  The new guitar player was no Gino, but he did have mad skills and was super friendly and full of questions about how their show went.  Now I just gotta figured out a shadowbox for this guitar to go over my studio desk.

After each show Gary Hoey and his band hang out and just chat with anybody willing to stay. I talked guitars with him for about 20 minutes after his Ho Ho Hoey show here in San Diego last year. Definitely the coolest 'famous' musician I've met.

Met and chatted very briefly with Alex Lifeson on the Signals (maybe Grace Under Pressure) tour at a meet and greet.

I saw Eric Johnson on the Ah Via Musicom tour at The Varsity near LSU. Student discount price? $8! One of the best shows I've ever seen. Played everything very close to the album, but added alot more to each song too. Very cool to chat with, and as Cagey says, very professional.

There's a local guitar shop that has meet and greets with many of the big names that come through town. I saw Satch there once.

I met Valerie Bertinelli online many many years ago. In the times that I chatted with her she introduced me to VH's tour manager at the time. When they toured Japan in '98 I was given all access passes and "Guest" tickets to all the shows in Tokyo and Yokohama. I was with them just short of a week. Went to all the soundchecks, had dinner with them on the last night in Yokohama, and just had an all around great time.
