I thought I would finally finish this project for better or worse.
I was going to get a flame maple neck and match the front of my body but I seen a neck warmoth posted on discount and went for that with this idea to try to match the looks of a Valley Arts guitar neck.
In the sun you can see the color miss match on the back side but the guitar plays great and I didn't even have to do any fret work which was nice.
I actually like this 7/8 strat warmoth offers it is a fun guitar.
I constantly had to fight that Solarez and recommend against it unless you just want the hardest paint on top coat you can get.
I still need to do a few more small things one is block the bad spot on the head stock that I got the discount for with a made in USA sticker. I am also thinking if I can find them pink or purple pick guard screws instead of black.
So what I learned from this is let the pros do the finish lol I will stick to playing them.
