New amplifier in a couple of weeks!!

I'm about to buy a ENGL Powerball 2 head.
I'm using it with my bogner 2x12 oversized cabinett until I can find a decent priced 4x12 ENGL or Mesa cabinett.


I have to pay 1500 USD for it. Great bargain  :icon_thumright:

I have a Savage 120, and it kicks ass.  Very easy amps to get sounding good.

What do I think?

I'm thinking "why does this guy have a Bogner cabinet?" I don't think I know any Bogner players that use Bogner cabs,  just the heads. Seriously though, great find.

They all seem to be pretty loud and nasty units, surely you don't crank them at home (unless you live in the forest away from everyone else).. :dontknow:

I play them at home. I'm cranking up the diezel pretty much. I'm running preamp on 12o'clock and mastervolume at 9o'clock... That's enough to blow the roof off the house..
I do have neighbours, but as long as I play between 7 in the morning and 23 at night, they can't complain... :guitaristgif:
