New albums out: Kiss/Sonic Boom, Ace Frehley/Anomaly, Megadeth/Endgame

I just got all 3 of them, and I'm listening now... my first impression, at random of the Ace-album: nice!

who has them, and what do you guys think?

first impression megadeth: will I finally like a megadeth-album?!

first impression Kiss: Finally a Kiss-album I like (well, I've never not liked kiss, but this is really, really nice!!!!)

but I think i'll be finishing off megadeth first

Yeah the new Megadeth aint bad! Definitley a new energy.
Still a little...i dunno...80's? hahaha Hard to say, but it reminds be of a 'best of' Rust in Peace and Countdown...so it's got good bones.

it's very 80ies trash metal, with a modern vibe to it, somewhere.

I picked up Endgame last week, and I like it!  But then, Mustaine is one of my guitar idols, so I'm not sure if he could do wrong with me...  (Hell, I even liked Risk, for God's sake...)

Another new album I picked up recently is Sunn O)))'s newest, "Monoliths and Dimensions."  Haven't been able to keep it out of the cd player for long.  Fantastic album.

Got all 3 and they are OK. Neither the best or worst work they have done...

I do however give the new Alice In Chains 2 thumbs up. Nice to have them on the scene and releasing new material again (even if it is without Layne - RIP).

My friend just showed me that one 2 days ago. We were talking about people we knew who knew bands. Never heard of 69 eyes before that, but I wasn't a fan of the music. I will say, though, that they've got their own sound, and the music seems alright, just really not my thing.
