Natural/Semi Gloss vs Warmoth's Gloss

Hello, i'm new to the forum and am in the process of building my first guitar with Warmoth. I'm thinking roasted ash body + either a walnut/black korina/koa/rosewood top.

I know that Warmoth offers either Satin or Gloss, but not a natural gloss, or a semi gloss (From my reasearch I think these are interchangeable?). Anyways, I don't want my guitar to have the extreme shine/mirror effect. I'd like it to be more subtle. I don't want a satin finish either as it looks a little dull to me.

This .strandberg is a "semi-gloss" and i'd like that look:

Is this achieved with a wipe-on poly? I'm seeing people use this DIY technique and it seems to achieve that look.

Anyways, any help would be great!

Thanks,
Adam

You might want to experiment with mixing gloss and satin Wipe-on Poly to get that effect. Also, if you're into colors, Wudtone gloss finishes are pretty much semi-gloss. They're not as durable, though.

Welcome to the forum. Looking forward to seeing your build.
