Hello, i'm new to the forum and am in the process of building my first guitar with Warmoth. I'm thinking roasted ash body + either a walnut/black korina/koa/rosewood top.
I know that Warmoth offers either Satin or Gloss, but not a natural gloss, or a semi gloss (From my reasearch I think these are interchangeable?). Anyways, I don't want my guitar to have the extreme shine/mirror effect. I'd like it to be more subtle. I don't want a satin finish either as it looks a little dull to me.
This .strandberg is a "semi-gloss" and i'd like that look:

Is this achieved with a wipe-on poly? I'm seeing people use this DIY technique and it seems to achieve that look.
Anyways, any help would be great!
Thanks,
Adam
