I've just sprayed the first layer of lacquer for the natural binding, I'll do another layer after I've been shopping then I'll let it dry for a few days before I dye the top and bottom. And here's what the exotic woods people sent me - it's extremely close to what my body looks like so I'm really chuffed that I get the chance to test the finish on wood that's so similar! (sorry for the poor phone-camera quality)

I've just removed the masking from the top after spraying the binding stripe

I've just dyed the top, damn the grain is starting to look sweet! I'll take a photo once I've done the second application and it's dried

Check this out, it came out exactly how I wanted it to - the picture really don't do the colour justice. I'm waiting on some new neck ferrules before I dye the back (the ones I have are the wrong size >.<)

Hi guys, sorry I've not updated this in some time, but I've been pretty lazy and haven't taken any photos of the progress.

Anyway, I've finished it (just about, missing the pickup selector toggle and a cut off toggle) - see attached! The picture is a but shit (used my phone) but I'll try to take some proper photos once it's properly finished.

With this being my first ever Warmoth, I made plenty of mistake (I won't list them ) but fortunately most, if not all, of them aren't noticable unless you really look at it.

That turned out great!
I really like the satin finish of the body.
It has a lot of similarities with the build I´m beginning with now, even though the woods and hardware and pickups are all different...  :icon_biggrin:
I´m trying to get the same satin finish on my black korina strat, looking for a dark green colour, with black hardware and a canary neck.
