my wish pickguard

Hello,

another question pops up...... when I "rush" through the "Custom Body Builder" I get told.  "We currently don't carry a pickguard that fits this rout. Sorry for the inconvenience."

I cannot understand that, so does that mean I have to get the pickguard somewhere else?

Please be so kind and help me out here.

What rout are you trying to get?

I sometimes get a similar message when going through the virtual body builder, if I've already chosen my pickguard routes -- say a neck and bridge -- pickup. Once I'm in the hardware selection option ... if I click the middle pickup option, I am told they don't offer a pickup for that route ... because there isn't any route in the pickguard.

I know this isn't exactly the situation you've cited, but I bring it up in case ESL is a potential culprit here. That's not a knock; my German is pitiful.

My advice is to call your order in.  They can probably do what you want and the builder is glitching.  I always call my orders in, and as a result, I have been able to get some stuff that the website said they didn't have.

Well, on the Tele Deluxe Build there is only the top rout option......

Sorry, but what is ESL?  Ohhhh, did I over-read you trying to say something in German, how kind!


So I best call the guys at W. to ask them, or what can I do, any suggestions?

ESL = English as a second language.

The TOM stop bridge isn't an option for a lot of guitars either, but I know you can have it routed on most bodies if not all of them.  You just have to call in your order.
