So, I sold my PJ Bass to.....a chief masterer at Sterling Sound, a major major studio in Manhattan. The guy has worked on the Beastie Boys, Rihanna, Dylan, Green Day, on and on and on. It was a cool place to visit, amazing gear and space. The big time. He's planning on keeping the bass around the studio - he loved it, loved it. He promised to email me if it made it onto any records. Cool hey!

It's all music, man. You wouldn't be excited to hear an instrument you put together, finished, and set up being played on a major record?

I'm happy when I can hear one of my instruments in my own living room (rare enough considering how much time I spend at work or commuting); if Rihanna wants to borrow one for her record and let it be heard across the country, I'm down with that.  I just appreciated Max's barb.  It's all good fun.
