I've been a major fan of Star Trek for oh, close to twenty years. I'm the guy you always make fun of: I've got the encyclopedia (first, second and third edition: fourth on its way), I've seen all episodes several times, I can recite scripts ets. But I grew up with 'Trek' and to me, it's a fairly important deal. So, when 2016 reared its ugly head I thought: now is the 50th anniversary of star trek, why not make two guitars to commemorate those years?

And that's just what I did. One guitar is my singlecut design, the other is my double cutaway design. I've chosen a triple-lam construction for both bodies: one ToneCore, sandwiched with great woods. I laminated the necks out of exotic timbers too. Got the best hardware, best pickups I could find, etc.

To summarize: these are the best guitars I made. By far. The action is super-low, the playability is buttery-smooth and the tones are to die for. Here are a few pics. Hope you enjoy them :)

REALLY digging the single cutaway guitar. Great how the dark top contrasts with the sides and the fretboard inlays are outrageous. Really reflects the care you put into this project.

Very nice work! The inlays are fantastic, and I like the little emblems on the knobs. You get a decoration and a pointer both at the same time.
