Here is a quick vid of my son playing his warmoth  carved top LP (screaming deals body for $199) at his 7th Grade talent show.  He is playing thru an Orange Dual terror and vox 4x12.  We only had the orange set at 7 watts.... :hello2:  It was LOUD!!!!

Very proud of both my son and the Warmoth.  I missed it on the vid but he even threw his pick before the tapping ala EVH!!!! :guitarplayer2: :headbang1: :rock-on: :party07:

as you can see he likes the color orange...

The kid is a natural performer - VERY nicely done. and that LP looks and sounds like a dream. My Friday (at work) before a long weekend is now complete.

Peace,
Pierre

How awesome is that?? Nice job kid, well played, good performance, great tone, confidence and execution...I hate you.  :headbang:

Cool stuff indeed  :icon_thumright:  love seeing this type of talent
Great looking guitar too.

:blob7:  I wanna be a kid again    :party07:

Love this  :headbang: ....  at the end, super cool.  :icon_biggrin:

I hate seeing kids raised on rock and roll.  :laughing3:

Wow!  Now 7th graders are better than me too.  :dontknow:

I though the exact same thing.

It's funny, but some of those licks were new when I was in the 7th grade, and the crowd of 7th graders recognized 25+ year old licks!

My guess is that it is more the parents cheering!

The kid is pretty damn good though.  Who else here was singing along "Thunder! AH AH AH AH AH AH Thunder!"?

LOL! Better not watch that show "Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?" Little rascals are surprisingly bright. Might have an irreversible personal crisis <grin>

Good job on the show. Kid's in 7th grade and he's already got chicks in the audience screaming for him. He's gonna go far.

It was actually the kids...VH is VERY big still.

Thanks everyone for the kind words.  Yes, it is a sad day when your child becomes a better guitar player that you. :tard:

That's totally awesome! :icon_thumright:

And I still can't double-hand tap to save my life.

That was great, and thank you for sharing.  I'm sure you're immensely proud.  It was apparent exactly how much he loves music, and I'm sure that has a great deal to do with you.

I had a similar feeling when I realized that my brother was a better guitar/bass player than I was.  Sure, I'd helped him learn, had him play in groups and shown him great music that I'd had to discover the hard way, but it's still a tiny blow to the ego that I can laugh about.
