My new Warmoth strat - the ultimate strat?

Say, what routing did you use? I think I'm going to put a Gotoh vs401 on my strat build to, I don't want the wilkinson wobble.

That is one amazing strat though, in my opinion, is is truly "the ultimate strat"!

Outstanding.  I have to agree with the previous poster about neck diving a Strat.  It's just about impossible.

Thank you most of all for resisting the urge to go Pearloid with the pickguard.  Less is more and this is beautiful.

at first i thought who doesn't have an ultimate strat or two. but when i saw it, WOW! the black trim and gold hardware are perfect. this thing is gorgous without losing the bad ass factor. ive seen some super strats but you have my vote for THE Ultimate. the one and the only.

i just love that you took the gold on black to the point of gold color frets on ebony. awesome detail!

Probably the most beautiful strat I have ever seen... and I see lots of strats.  Congratulations!

Very nice. Very very nice. Personal opinion, I would prefer a highly figured maple headstock. That's just me though and this guitar still kicks a ton of ass.

Are those Jailhouse Rails only good for metal? I've been thinking about them for my roadkill project, but from reading the description, they are probably a bit too hot for my taste.  I find most bridge humbuckers too bassy/muddy, and would prefer something with more output than a single coil but not as much bass & low mid as a humbucker, especially most high output ones. Have you tried splitting them or putting them in parallel?

I'm a little late to the party here, and I hate to be redundant and point out what you already know, but I gotta say that is one absolutely beautiful guitar. I'm curious how you like those gold frets.

Glad your all lovin it - i think some people are loving it a bit too much there!!

The irongear jailhouse rail is quite amazing for the price. I have a Caparison Horus with a Bareknuckles Painkiller in the bridge (cost £110) - i did an A-B test with my Jailhouse Rail (Cost £28) and i cant tell the difference - defined tone, tight bottom end, huge drive - ill prolly never buy any other brand of pick ups again - incredible value - id just like to add how blown away i was with warmoths freeting and nut installation - absolutely custom shop quality, perfection - totally. This is definitely not my last Warmoth guitar - my missus will kill me but next is probably a soloist or a Charvel strat type beast with floyd and maybe a bright paint job.

ahhh good to hear! I am about to order a set of Jailhouse Rails! I love my Steel Twins from Iron Gear, and also have a Hot Slag that I need to find a use for :)

that is the great thing about them! shipping is similar to domestic shipping from GFS!

How would you compare the hot slags to an equal output Duncan? The online reviews dont look too trustworthy.
