Here it is - Tiger Eye quilted maple on Swamp Ash - ALL ebony neck - Gold frets, sperzels, Wilkinson VS401 Trem, Seymour duncan APS-1 single coils, Irongear Jailhouse Rails - 250k CTS pots.

I have read a lot of rubbishg about ebony necks being too heavy, inducing neck dive, too bright..what a load of plop - this is smooth as silk.

Hope you like - this is my first Warmoth - wont be my last!!!!  :hello2:

That is a beauty of a strat.  :glasses9:
You have some really nice quilting on that top and I love the ebony neck.  The black hardware goes great as well.
Nice work...
:kewlpics: :rock-on:

Thanks - it went through about 6 scratchplates before i decided on the gloss black with cream ply to match the natural binding - its better than i could have hoped for.

you WIN!!! That might be the most beautiful strat I have ever seen! And of course ur ebony neck isn't diving... strap placement on a strat is too good to let that happen...

I can't really disagree with you on that statement!!!!
can you tell us a bit more about the neck? feel? weight? tone? sustain?

The feel is like warm stone...the weight adds a more solid, expensive feel to a strat that is usually light and plastic feeling, the tone is bright, it does brighten things up quite a bit - i have 250k pots, if i had stuck with my 500s it would be too bright for anything - amazing sustain for a strat - a bummer to drill the holes for the sperzels though!!! I made sure i waxed the bolts for the neck though - it creaked a bit!

Nice, you convinced me, I want one too!

so how about the Iron Gear rails? I just checked out their website and their prices aren't too bad..
I think I will get me some HOT SLAGS!

Man, I do love those tigers eye stats. And the ebony neck looks great! Planning on building more Warmoths?

Glad your all lovin it - i think some people are loving it a bit too much there!!

The irongear jailhouse rail is quite amazing for the price. I have a Caparison Horus with a Bareknuckles Painkiller in the bridge (cost £110) - i did an A-B test with my Jailhouse Rail (Cost £28) and i cant tell the difference - defined tone, tight bottom end, huge drive - ill prolly never buy any other brand of pick ups again - incredible value - id just like to add how blown away i was with warmoths freeting and nut installation - absolutely custom shop quality, perfection - totally. This is definitely not my last Warmoth guitar - my missus will kill me but next is probably a soloist or a Charvel strat type beast with floyd and maybe a bright paint job.

Im probably going to get Mansons (my local shop) to set this up for me now as their tech is a wizard, straight out the box its very playable but the action is a tad too high and i know he will get it down a bit - also i had a problem wiring the beast up right (electrics are my downfall) basically i have a HSS config but my Bridge/middle position is shafted - its like its out of phase and generally nasty - no bass, twangy - its all wrong - no matter how i do it i cant seem to get the coil split on the bucker with the middle coil on.

You have the foundation for a tech to go to town!  Outstanding choices for a gorgeous guitar - but I don't have to tell you that  :laughing7:
