My W neck is fine on my W body...no mueve.

like I wrote here elsewhere... I had a star shape Warmoth together for about 18+ years - no case, just lying around my house, or leaning against the wall - untill I got wall hangers a few years ago - never had an issue with the neck joint. And the body is unfinished basswood that is extremely soft. The neck pocket is just like on the V.
