I've just completed my first build of a Warmoth Stratocaster!  I'm very happy with it!  It looks and sounds great. I get a feeling that building guitars can be addicting.

                  Warmoth Stratocaster  (2008)
                  Body:  One piece Black Korina.
                  Neck:   Maple
Pickups:  Lindy Fralin P43 with tone blender pot.

Here's a link to a couple of pictures of my new Strat:  http://www.ablackorchid.com/Warmoth_Stratocaster.htm

I'm sorry... but that axe is too nice to leave "as a link".

A really, really nice build!! Congrats!!

Normally I am not a gold hardware fan, but I do like this one. And it's a hardtail! Nice!! Any back pics?

:hello2:

Beautiful neck and body wood combo. Are those the gold frets? Regardless, looks great, though I personally would have gone for different knobs.

dying to know what kind of pickguard that is

SHED SOME LIGHT ON A NIGGA

(looks exactly like that kind I'd been interested in for fiesta red)

BTW
I did not think korina and maple could mate and make a pretty baby
but that seriously makes me rethink both of those woods

nice figuring as well

More info on the guitar:

The finish is a glossy finish.
The pickguard is a Fender - all aluminum.
I had black plastic knobs on it, but I want something a little bit more extreme.  Don't you guys get tired of seeing the same old standard  stuff all of the time???
Yes, it has a hard tail.  I don't use a whammy bar.

That is seriously tasty.

Me Like.

I might have to an all korina strat.....Hmmmmm !
