My First Build

OK, I've finally finished this thing. I learned a lot and I've ended up with a beautiful guitar here. But there are a lot of things I won't do next time when it comes to the finish. I will listen to the experts. I finally got it looking good but in trying to take short cuts I spent more money and more time. Anyway the  pickups are Lindy Fralin noise cancling p90s. This thing is a Rocking blues machine. The tone is killer. The flame is stunning. Sorry about the pictures. If anyone would like I'll see if I can give you something better. :cool01:

Thanks for the comments guys. The Chick with the boots is really hot. I really gave this thing a workout Friday night. I takes just a touch more drive to dirty it up the way I like it but once yuo're there this thing kicks ass. It's not too heavy either. I used it for about 2 and a half sets before I went to a semi hollow for some weight releif. Hey, I'm 53 years old I can't hold a heavy axe like I used to. I'm usually looking for something lighter after about a set with my Les Paul.

It's weird how only a couple/few pounds can make such a difference, isn't it? But, over time...

It's why laptop makers go to such lengths to shave off even just ounces. Carry one far enough, and those ounces start gaining weight somehow.
