Getting excited, heading to Music on the Bay in Tampa next weekend. At Whiskey Joe's on the beach!

Always thought one of the coolest things about it is, various band members from various bands as well as single performers to just jump in with other bands and play whenever they feel like it for a song, several songs, whatever. Just another guitarist, or helping with backing vocals, etc. No egos, no "hey you are messing up our set" or anything. Most just blend in and play along, some will get called to help sing leads, and everything in between. Just like one long jam session  :guitarplayer2:
Shame I can't do it, though I often wonder if anyone there would care as long as I didn't screw up too often or too badly  :laughing7:

It’s the essence of what we are about!  I have random bouts of stage fright. Still fight it after performing 15+ years. Wish I was one of those cats that could just cut loose on demand.

In my mom's mind I should get up on any stage anywhere and just start playing with anyone at anytime.  No matter what, if there's a live band playing she'll say to me, "You should get up there and play Zach.  You're good."  Moms are like that sometimes.
