I'd say that was almost sure... Even our illustrious Warmoth seemed to have "issues" for a bit when they started up the seven-string path. Not mis-positioned, but there were at least a few with too-high 22nd, 23rd or 24th frets. They sell so few of them relatively that they probably haven't reprogrammed the Fret-o-Tron* to deal with 24 frets on a 25" scale. So when Barney the Fret Guy gets it, he's trying to match the last few frets to what the Magic-Frets* machine did, which you can't because the Fret-o-Rama Mama* is always perfect.I suspect it was the 24 fret neck that threw him for a loop.
