Mini-hum single coil pot values?

You may not like it as it's likely to change your playing style to suit your ears and behavior. Some players use their volume/tone controls more as "ON/OFF" switches, setting them on "10" at day one and not moving them. Others ride those knobs like it's a sex thing. Watch Jeff Beck play, and you'll be convinced he probably has to change his pots annually due to wear. It's also why "treble bleed" mods have become more popular. Changing your volume changes the guitar's output impedance and therefore the its frequency response, so you lose high end when you turn down. That may be desirable for some, less so for others.
