My tele bridge pickup is potted but is horribly microphonic. I'm pretty sure its the bridge plate. I was thinking about threaded inserts into wood for a rigid mount.
Anyone else ever done a mount to wood that still used the bridge plate? I think I saw some folks had done that a few years back, but I didn't see details.
