Named .... 'Huey'  ...... for the different shades that come off it from different angles.

Mightern be as pretty looking as some of my other builds.  :dontknow:
But …   Wow this thing has some great sound to it.
Talk about getting a variety out of one guitar.
Can defiantly see this baby being another Fav of mine.  :guitarplayer2:
Next time I see somebody asking 'What Strat Puppies to go for'
I'll just simply say ……….. Dimarzio Area's  :icon_thumright:

A mate I helped build a Warmoth Strat for, has similar Area's to what I've used. His are '58, '58 & '61 Bridge
So sometime I'll do a little test on the sounds of his and mine.
Should be very interesting as his is Mahogany (solid) with a Pau-Ferro / Par-Ferro Neck.
Total turn around to what mine has.

Great Stuff!! They don't make 'em like THAT anymore--hell
they didn't even make 'em like that back THEN! Man, you always give good Strat!! :redflag:

That's a fine piece of work, Mr. Updown. That Tortoiseshell pickguard ended up looking a lot better than I expected it to.

Thanks guys  :icon_thumright:

Don't worry I tried many combo's of pickguards & covers etc.
Yeah the Black pickguard just didn't match in with the neck and other bits at all.  :tard:
The Vintage Pearl stays the same look from which ever angle it's viewed from.

As the body finish changes from different angles, the best to use was the Tortoiseshell
Which seems darker from different angles …… if ya know what I mean.
(BTW … was meant to be a darker type of Tortoiseshell) ….. But didn't get what I ordered !!

When I open the case up, it looks a cross between, that old antique look
(from the Rosewood and Cream bits and Tortoise pickguard)
To the modern / flashy look, Metallic Tobacco Burst.

Kind of strange, but seems to work.
Anyway she .....
Sounds great   feels great and plays great  :guitarplayer2:  that's the main part  :icon_thumright:

Nice job, brother.  As usual.  Do you ever get tired of loading yourself up with awesome guitars?

Yeah, I know. Stupid question.  Rock out, sir.

Very nicely done! Love the finish and neck combo. At least in the pictures the colors match so nicely. One question: how do you decide which of your fabulous guitars to play?

Thanks for the comments all  :icon_thumright:

To easy …
Depends what mood I'm in.

Also depends what units I'm playing with.
When I'm just using Rolands VG-99 and the GR-55 I only use the GK-3 guitars.

How do I choose which guitar to play …  :dontknow:

I have a bunch of plectrums numbered in a dish.
                                                                My guitars are numbered.

I pull out a plectrum, then grab that guitar  .........  :icon_jokercolor:

No really …
I can have up to 6 guitars out at once, 3 are hanging up usually all the time. 1 is a Bass.
But …  :dontknow:
For some strange reason I can still only work out how to play one at a time.

Althou  :sign13:
I could strum an open or capo'd chord on a GK-3 guitar standing in a stand and use the Freeze from the VG-99.
(that just holds the chord for as long as you want)
Then play another over that with another guitar.
I do have many favourite Warmoth guitars I've built and this is sure one of them    :guitarplayer2:
Thanks again all  :icon_thumright:
