So I was in my local used/consignment shop and I ran into a Mesa that I had never seen before.  It looked kinda like a mark II, but there was something about it that was a bit off.

Then I looked out back and found that there were no tubes!  it was solid state!

.... then I looked closely at the label...  :o

How many watts?

There is a horrendous guitar builder in Brazil called Tonante - To the king of guitar... His crappy guitar is called "finder"...

I looked on the Mesa cite and didn't see the Mark II.  BTW, I think all of the Mesa combos and heads are all tube.

<psst... STDC... the amp was a cheap far east knock off with a slightly mis-spelled brand name...>

oh - don't know how many watts - and don't care either  :icon_jokercolor:

I know a local guy with a Mesa Mark II C+, and it is hands down the best amp I've ever heard.

Mesia though? I would love to put some Mesa guts into a "Mesia", and rock that out.

There used to be quite a few Mesia amps on ebay, now I can't find one. I'm wondering if a lawsuit recently went through, hehe.

I couldn't stand Mesa amps but recently I like the Lonestar Classic and the Mark V. Not the best but for sure the most versatile amp I have ever heard. If someone wants only one amp to play different music styles Mark V is the answer.

If I saw a Mesia Boogle sitting in a shop I'd pretty much have to try it out just to say I did
