I'm wondering if right hand reverse headstock would look even better

Like the angle matching the angle of the horns. The other way would be odd to me.

That is awesome... will it fit in a strat case? Even if the neck is angled? My next neck will at least have the meadow hawk inlays!

I know that many universal strat cases do allow for tilted headstocks. I am a big fan of gig bags though so it would definitely fit in a nice one of those.

I bring only one guitar with me when I play out, and they travel in a bass gig bag, so there's never an issue, but if they aren't on a stand or hanging on the wall they live in a case.

A carved top is a frivolity, but I want it.

I’m with you, my original plan was a bound goldtop Meadowhawk with an Evertune, but neither the binding nor bridge are available. This thing with a carved hollow body and an F-hole would be like a single cutaway Mooncaster, and that would be awesome!!

I love the modded tele look where they add a little offset vibe to it and play with the cutaway and upper bout dimensions and shapes.

D'Avanzo has one, but its his own builds, not just a body. He is also very limited in what he offers. Good stuff though.

Precision guitar kits has one too. This one is sick! Its what the offspring of a Tele and a RG had a one night stand. Tone down the cutaway and make it for 22 fender frets and I'd buy 3.
As it is, picture that with a tele bridge and pickups. Binding on that horn would look awesome!

I guess its true what they say, we all end up playing teles.

I’ll ask for input here before I flood up the Pickups and Wiring forum with another thread.

For an HSH configuration, I want these options Charvel does on their DK24 guitars and possibly more.



Given that it has a route for an LP toggle switch and not a blade, do you think I’d be better off using a Free Way 6-way toggle or could I use a rotary switch like they had on 90s PRS models?

Would the rotary switch even fit that kind of route? I’m pretty sure on old PRS guitars it was the same size as the volume and tone pots.

Both would give me 6 options. I’d like to get those five options, plus one for both humbuckers. If I could also somehow have both outer coils of the humbuckers, I would. If you’ve ever had a guitar with that option, you know it’s like a Telecaster twang mode in a superstrat.

That’s basically seven options I want to have, but my switching options give me a total of six.

Could I do this by including push-pulls? Maybe have a Gilmour switch in one of the pots and don’t connect the neck pickup to the toggle at all?

Lastly, Is a no load tone pot a good fit for a Pegasus? Just the Pegasus bypassing everything straight to the output jack?

Sorry, this is all a bit overwhelming (but in a good exciting way).

@ThisIsHuhWow404 yes you could use a rotary switch as linked, but the Freeway is probably a more practical option.

Check out the diagrams for the Freeway toggle options. Extra switches or push pulls can be added to give more options.

I vote the Freeway 3X3-05 plus a push-pull if you're wanting the most versatility on an HSH.

Given that the back cavity is the same physical size as most of the other control cavities, it might be worth reaching out to see if they could do a blade + VT from the soloist in the cavity. I would suggest a Strat setup but that would likely sit to far back to be comfortable.

I only say this because the VIP controls are available off menu in other body shapes.

I already e-mailed to change the color of the nut. I’m afraid of being "that customer." I’m pretty confident in the free way toggle getting me what I want (and it would look a lot nicer).
