A few weeks ago it was mentioned that there was a Mayfly handbuilt amp for sale at Spaceman in Ottawa, Ontario. My brother lives in Ottawa, and we were talking about it tonight. He tried out the Mayfly, and the AC30 top boost. He said the Mayfly was way better, plus it had a neat attenuator on the back.
Way to go Mayfly!
PS--He was just at Spaceman today to collect the cash he earned from selling an old Twin Reverb. He said that they had a partscaster there with a Warmoth neck, and a hipshot b bender, with also a strange g bender.
At first I thought it might be a Mayfly special, but realized it probably wasn't because Spaceman said it was a Warmoth neck on an unknown body. I just don't see Mayfly selling anything with an "unknown" label.
Kudos. It seems these amps may be something special.
