Guitar #2 DMRACO

Factory second body from a builder.
Strat style with Burl wood over Basswood.
I replaced all hardware and added Ken Lawrence Pickups, Vintage style trem, and antique pearl pick guard.
The pickup covers mimic the old foil style pickups.
I did have to create a small shim to bring the neck pocket to the correct depth.
Knobs are vintage Gibson Amber.

Neck is a Warmoth made of Padouk and Canary fretboard.
Gold frets and abalone markers were added for some extra bling.
I added my logo and put a satin finish on headstock.
The neck was left raw and burnished.
Hardware is Sperzel

Well so far, I know who I'm voting for!  :laughing7:
I'm definitely not a tele guy, as you may have noticed, but that is one beautiful guitar! That thing is screaming for a piezo pickup!

That is one awesome Tele!  :icon_thumright:

I don't know what has happened since I came to this forum. I have never ever liked Telecasters, and now I'm seriously planning on getting one. Strange things seem to happen as I grow older  :laughing7:

Same here.  Never cared for Teles until I came here, now I own five of them. Has something to do with examples like Guitarsan's unit above, I think  :laughing7:

Thanks all! My vision was a modern Tele, but still retaining the classic Telecaster sound. And something that would be Fender Customshop worthy.

Holy cr@p!  How is one to decide?  I may have to flip a coin, roll a dice or just rock, paper, scissors, dynamite this one!

Build thread for the Tobacco Burst Black Korina Strat is here:

Sound clips, neat pics, good conversation and camaraderie.

Best of luck to all the entrants, fine lookin' guitars all!
