MMM beautiful!!!! it's going to be  a close race. What's that Bubinga neck like Bluetalon? Love the Wenge, don't know of a better feel.

I was thinking of taking Quty Pie out for another try, but didn't get my act together.  In any case,  that lovely purple-burst strat flies the flag quite nicely.

That figured walnut gonna be tough to beat, unless we get those gold hardware haters voting.  :laughing7:.  And that spalted  '59 strat  wow, that's sweet!!!!!  :rock-on:

Eh, I seem to be a perennial 2nd place finisher.  Just could not get a good photo of the maple fingerboard figuring though, I'll try again and maybe post some up.  I'm liking all the Jazzmasters though, got a JM build going on right now myself.

I didn't enter my green quilt strat this time - figured you all are bored with it by this point, and it never even gets close to winning. And there's some super entries this month anyway - going to be hard to choose!

It's wonderful!  It feels smooth and clean (it's hard for me to find the words that fully describe it).  My thumb glides on the surface.  I can literally play faster with it than I can on the finished necks on my other basses.

I'm definitely planning on getting another bubinga neck in the future.  And if I can find a wenge fretboard with as striking a grain pattern as what I have on this bass, so much the better!

Here are some more photos to look at of my purple burst strat.  Its the first chance I got to get outside today while the sun was out to get some shots of the guitar.

Thanks for looking  :icon_thumright:

Wow, tough competition this month! Another great bunch of axes!  :icon_thumright:  :guitarplayer2:
