I would love to see this hit the market with multiple saddle designs.

It allows you to use the neck pickup/both pickups/ or just the bridge pickup.

Currently the Sustainiac and the Fernandes Sustainer require you to sacrifice the neck voicing in order to activate the sustainer circuit.

I know what you mean. I've always wanted a sustain enhancer, but could never really get comfy with the whole Sustainiac or Ebow-type widgets. I get my sustain the old-fashioned way - with criminally high volume/gain  :icon_biggrin:

That's why I think that this bridge activated technology is far more natural, as you can acquire feedback using the neck pickup if you like, as is where I do so the most.

Since I use a POD these days so that I can hear my wife, son, and grandson, I think this can help re-acquire the "feel" of the interaction between a guitar and an amp moving some air, even if it is doing so differently, so long as some of that "feel" can be had, I'm good.

Based on my experience mixing piezo w/ mags at moderate volumes - I'd also be interested. It certainly "feels" like you're playing much much louder. I suspect though that you don't need polyphonic pickups for it though - I'd like to mess around with a body shaker to do it. Think it just might work.

Those look like stock Tele pickups in the demo, and I suspect that having individual saddles may have something to do with (and I speculate here) that maybe the preamp compensates for the natural frequency range represented on each string, but I don't know that for sure.

I would think that the base plate could accomplish the same thing, but if Floyd saddles for this along with the preamp hit the market tomorrow, the credit card is gonna take a hit 5 minutes later.

I *have* thought about throwing one of those Aura Pro shakers on an electric upright bass project - having tacticle feedback helps immensely on fretless. I can't hear squat for intonation with headphones unless I have a shaker.  Since it has a peg to the floor to bear weight - shouldn't be onerous.
