Mahogany Strat Weight

Hey I was wondering how much a mahogany body and neck + flame top Strat would approximately weight (non-chambered)? Would it weigh close to a normal Les Paul?

Because I'm still maturing a build idea in my head and I was not sure between a Strat or Les Paul. I just realized though that all I want is a heavier guitar because it does make a difference in the way I play for some reason.

Aaah... does it still feel heavier and chunkier than your normal Strat?

May be a little..I could have a very light piece of mahogany..this guitar ways alot less than my friend's tele that I have at my house too.

If heft is what you're after, you can specify "extra heavy" for an upcharge when ordering a body.
