Mahogany neck for bass, baritone?

Didn't realize they were gone!
I had avoided basses with mahogany necks ever since living with a Gibson EB-0 for several years and hating it. But that was ~40 years ago, and in the ensuing decades I've learned that I probably hated that EB-0 for any number of reasons that had nothing to do with what wood its neck was made from.
So just recently I picked up a Breedlove acoustic bass guitar with a mahogany neck, and it feels just lovely! Sounds good too, nothing Gibson-ish about it.

It would seem there are enough guitar-sized neck blanks to justify continuing to include them in the builder, but not enough bass and baritone-sized blanks to do so. I guess I was wondering if this was a situation that would change over time. It may be that it would be possible to get one "off menu," I'm ok with that.
