Mahogany Mooncaster Bass

Mahogany wasn't on my radar when I started thinking about putting together a Mooncaster bass, but the more I thought about it, and the more I looked at the available bodies on the Showcase, I got obsessed with the look of ivoroid binding.  So I ended up with this one.  Loaded it with TV Jones Thunder'blades.  Now I'm awaiting the arrival of a 32" scale Warmoth tiltback neck - roasted maple, ebony fretboard, ivoroid binding (of course).  And ivoroid knobs to finish it off.

The neck was delivered late this afternoon.  Should have it finished up in a day or two.
