I had an extra neck from the garage sale so I picked up this here one. 3.56 lbs, has a couple of wood fills so I am expecting flaws in my finish, nature of wood. I am moving slowly to get started. My thinking is to use tru oil, looking for my easiest/efficient natural finish, other alternatives include shellac, linseed oil or wipe on poly,

I was told that the Seth Lovers are the non aged version of antiquities when I asked. Saturday Night specials are hotter and A4 magnets which are a totally different character. I would get the seth lovers for the "best" cleans

Duncan has a great comparison of all of their PAF flavors here: https://www.seymourduncan.com/blog/latest-updates/a-guide-to-seymour-duncan-paf-pickups

I have played the Seth’s, the Antiquities, the Jazz/JB hotrodded combo, and the 59s. They’re all great, I’d recommend the Seth Lovers for what you’ve described (clean PAF tone)

I also can’t recommend Gibsons own 57 Classics enough. They are really good, and if you scour eBay and Reverb and you will find a set fairly cheap because lots of people seem to rip them out for boo-teek setups.
