I've had this problem with every metal logo I've tried to apply to a Warmoth neck. The "Warmoth" part sticks just fine, but the tiny "Made in USA" part peels off when I remove the plastic film. Is there any trick to doing this that I'm not aware of? I'd like to avoid a situation where some of the letters stick and some don't. Once those logos are on, it's nearly impossible to remove them. Thanks.

I've put on several dozen of those things, and rarely have any success with those small letters. I've tried warming things up, thinking that would lower the viscosity of the adhesive on the release film to where it would let go more easily, but no joy. I've tried extra pressure, and that didn't help. I've tried using the point of an Xacto blade to hold the letters in place as the release film pulled away, but that wasn't working either.
I think it's only been twice I successfully transferred that part, and it was years ago when I first started using them. Makes me wonder if the age of the things has anything to do with it. Warmoth doesn't order them very often, so anything that you'd buy today of what's left is probably 4 or 5 years old or better. Adhesives age, which changes their properties.

I have these logo's on all the exotic wood bass necks and have had no problems...
I rub the decals on hard with a finger, let it sit for a few seconds and after that -ever so slowly- pull away the plastic foil. When I see that one of the small letters tends to lift from the wood I do a bit more rubbing and then slowly continue. This procedure has worked every time for me.
