look what I have coming...celluloid goodness

Subtle as a chainsaw, lacking all the social graces (Ray Stevens)

But I like too.

All Canary would look great. But, I think if it was me, I'd do black Ebony over Canary. Either way, you can't lose. They'll both look, feel, play and sound great. The advantage of the Ebony would be a nice contrast while not drawing the eye away from the body, which is the show point.

Nice! I have the tele version! Only part that sucks is that it's cut isn't perfect, the television pick guard I got is off at the lower horn, or the body is off at the lower horn. Not sure how off their start version is.

Mine lines up perfect.  I picked this up today for it.  Yum.

Awesome, I think the all Canary will look just smashing...Great looking neck too...Wise choice... :headbang1:

With that much sparkly craziness with the body, I'd say maybe a goncalo neck and fingerboard for the coloration.

I think all your positive comments on canary let me to this one.  It will be my first raw neck

You won't be sorry. Be sure to take the time to burnish it, though. Even though it'll feel great out of the box, the improvement is dramatic.

ahhhhhhh....

Neck arrived.  Gold fret goodness.  Logo attached.  Burnishing tonight.  The satin poly is still a but damp.  I will hit it quickly with steel wool to take off any shine.

The mounting holes were off just a bit with the GFS body.  I filled them in and will re-drill new ones.

WOW!!!  Some serious bling.  This thing was a BEAR!!  Had to re-route the trem cavity to fit the floyd (was originally a fender vintage) and the neck pocket was a bit off.  Nothing major.  The canary neck is burnished and super smooth.  Gold frets too.
