Martin Scorsese's documentary about George Harrison is on HBO. I thought it was going to be in the theaters but is on HBO and I watched it last night. Fantastic. Lots of footage with guitars of the time. I highly recommend it if you're a George or general Beatles fan.

yep. how do i get my hits on it, tho . . . y'know, not having HBO and all . . . of course I will buy it when it comes out. is it out? (BTW, scorsese documentaries are KILLER. his one on the stones concert . . . yeah. amazing. Also, if you haven't seen "Scorsese on Scorsese", check it out. Its basically him being interviewed about his own films, excerpts from his work, of course. But its really cool to hear how he views his own work. And he's funny.)

Completely agree and what could be better for rock and guitar addicts than a really good film maker who loves rock n roll?

thanks for the tip..i love the documentaries. rush beyond the lighted stage was great! has video clips of when they were in high school!  on a semi related note have you ever looked into jimmy pages auto biography he did last year? looks great and all but it sold out for $1,200 a copy.
