OK guys, latest project is just about completed. What do you think?
The idea was to have the offspring of a J-bass with a Telecaster. Short scale J-bass body with a 30" reverse orientation Warhead neck. The body is swamp ash with the grain enhanced, stained with ebony stain, and sprayed with matte clear laquer. The neck is plain maple with an ebony FB, no front dots. The maple is also stained in the same way as the body, and finished with Tru-Oil. Tuners are Hipshot Ultralites because I wanted to relic the hardware on this bass and I didn't see that working with the Schaller BML Lites.
Just this shot for now, I'll take some more pics including some detail shots later.
