Less Cream Facedots

It seems like lately there's been a TON of exotic wood necks in the RSS feed with cream facedots. Am I the only one who's really turned off by cream dots on any neck other than a very traditional maple/rosewood pieces?

I went through the feed today and was particularly perturbed by these two; the dots really seem to clash with the already beautiful and flashy wood grain. If they must have dots I feel MOP is much more neutral.

I would not have put dots (or anything else) on either one of those necks. They're far too pretty. But, if I did, I probably would have opted for cream. Unless black or MOP or Abalone would look better  :laughing7:
