Thank you!

I looked at it, but it was not the correct size. I have a narrow string spacing of 2 1/16 Oh well, I will keep looking. Apparently, according to another helpful soul, there are many that I have not found yet using Google.

I will keep looking.

There are 4 of the top 6 items on the 1st page of a google search

Search was for

Left hand 6 point tremolo 2 1/16

If you don’t see these clear your browser cache and history as it’s probably rehashing previous failed attempts

All 4 of these are LH 2 1/16 string and 2 1/16 mount

Thank you for your post is helpful, and I will clean out the browser data.

I found all of those four results on my own when I searched before I posted here.

You just proved my point. The results are cheap pot-metal, or they are near or above $200. I will pay $200 for quality if that is my only option, but I wanted to ask here before doing that.

I figured that people here (like you) know more than I do.

Well, to offer some concept:

What would you consider as non cheap pot metal as far as a brand, etc?

What would you expect that bridge to cost?

Had a few minutes and found this Fender part for you

I re-read your OP and you said upgrading.  I presume you already have a Fender part. What are you trying to upgrade about it? As you reference pot-metal, I’m curious if you are looking for better saddles, a better block, etc?
Saddles I suggest Callaham. For a block, I’d suggest contacting Callaham and see if they’d custom make one for you.

Perhaps search for left handed tremolos.

Vegatrem offer left handed trems. Pricey but very stable.

https://vegatrem.com/left-handers/
https://vegatrem.com/product/vt1-ultra-trem-standard-lefty/

I found this:

Google or a similar search engine may be better than Amazon to find things. Though there is probably little choice out there for Mexican spacing in left handed.

It is not clear what you mean by misaligned.

OK, look at this picture. You will see through the hole (where you would attach the tremolo bar) that the plate and the block are off by 1/8 of an inch or more.

Have you tried taking it apart and re-assembling to see if it will align correctly?

If not the part TBurst linked to seems inexpensive and you could perhaps then look for upgraded blocks and saddles to swap out over time. Though you are not going to find high end bridges without higher prices.

Yeah, I found the exact items that you did, and that is why I posted here. I was looking for something better than the original hardware. Made from "Pot metal" means something made out of poorly recycled scrap metal poured in a mold.

It is a common phrase, and you should learn it.

Despite your insults, I was able to find a brass block for a new tremolo assembly that is on its way.

Something with a block made from brass, Aluminium, or steel. A plate and saddles that are cut from steel or brass sheet and pressed/bent into shape.

I am not concerned with a brand name; I am focused on quality.

Thank you for reading the OP, but do not throw out all of the other details that I have given you. Yes, I have the original 1999 tremolo system (not going to repeat the dimensions), and I am looking to upgrade the whole thing if I can, or at least the block and saddles.

I will contact Callaham.

Are you able to post a link to where you were able to find a suitable brass block. It may be useful to someone else trying to find one in the future.

dang, my dude, you seem to be takin' this weirdly personally lmao. i read back through the thread and didnt see any insults. u might be reading hostility where there is none. when i was lifeguard at a waterbed motel I the late 1990s I had to mediate many disputes. Just breathe, friend

FWIW if Callaham does left handed stuff i think they are probably the best quality and classically kool. not overengineered insanity like the Vega and Sophia stuff. big yikes to all that nonsense
