Layering amber nitro

I am looking to do a VERY subtle burst.  I have ordered some stewmac amber nitro.  I am curious how dark it will get if I keep adding layers.  Obviously was thinking 2-3 base coas then working my way out towards the edge.  I am hoping this will give the effect I am looking for.  I have some brown tinted nitro but am hoping now to need it.

I do not think you will get that effect with the amber I think Trans-Tint Reddish Brown #6003 mixed very lightly as a shading lacquer would nail that color.
