they apparently just "went under" bankrupt and all.. filed chapter 11 around march and closed the door yesterday.

A sad day.

The silver lining would be maybe they'll have a close out sale and you can get a few things..  :sad1:

Damn...

Well that's re-organization, vs. chapter 7 (liquidation, game over)
Perhaps they will continue to operate.

Wonder if Tonar has the inside scoop.

And many others:

"Used by Martin, Guild, Fender, Collings, Santa Cruz and Benedetto."

I am surprised as well.

WHAT!  :( :( :( :( :( :( :(
This is the first I have heard of it.  McFadden’s is hands down the best instrument grade lacquer on the market.  There are other quality manufactures of lacquers but I would choose McFadden’s first.

I guess I better buy up!

Thanks for the heads up, I'll do some checking on Monday and see what the word is.

Yeah man, I'm getting ready to move, and will finally have room to do stuff.. I'm gonna have to make a purchase or two while I can.

I spoke to McFadden’s this morning and they are NOT closing their doors and going out of business.  They closed the offices for a week and they will up and running tomorrow, it is same company, owners, and products. You will be able to call orders in to the 800 # tomorrow.

I think I've heard an "UFA!" from 8000 miles away :D
